The tiny house

among the woods of Montello was born in the early 1920s, for therapeutic use for those with respiratory problems. Subsequently it was rented out and became a stage like a branch for the locals who moved on foot or with a cart pulled by oxen to reach the neighboring villages for work, make wood, mulch, go mushrooming or hunting…. Although it had been abandoned and badly maintained, grandfather Luigi noticed it and, after a few years of negotiations, managed to buy it. It took him some time to clean it up and fix it, make connections to drinking water and electricity but, in the end, he was satisfied. The first seasonal license is dated 1971. Together with his wife Ada they opened the tavern/inn where they offered products from their grandfather's garden and courtyard, thus making that tavern a trattoria and finally, with the succession of generations, a restaurant.
